Assad sets a bleak futture for alawites

Reader comment on item: The Alawi Capture of Power in Syria

Submitted by Tony (United States), Dec 21, 2012 at 00:14

Alawite Assad ruled Syria with torture, imprisonments and killings of thousands of people over the 40 years, a criminal regime indeed. Assad has taken the Alawites hostage and they went along creating a heavy historic burden. Today Syrian cities are being destroyed by their own syrian army ruled by alawite officers. Generations of alawites will likely pay the price of the crimes and atrocities of the assad criminal regime.
