Reader comment on item: The Alawi Capture of Power in Syria
in response to reader comment: alawis morrocco and syria

Submitted by Andrew Jeffrey (Pakistan), Sep 24, 2012 at 11:25

I have written an article above CONFUSED ABOUT ALAWIS.

Well, there are two kinds of Alawis.

One who call themselves Alawis because of their ethnicity and it is NOT related to their religion. They are close to Shiate Islam. These Alawites are in Syria, Lebanon and even all over the world. I have received many emails and many men and women trying to explain themselves.

Some are even sunni and they use alawi as their RACE more than for religious purpose

I am not to judge anyone and God knows best.
