moslem conversion

There are one or two points to bear in mind.

1. What is meant by conversion? If leaving the Moslem community and calling oneself something else is meant, or 'pursuing a different path of righteousness', then there is not much future in this as a possible direction for Islam; something much more radical is needed if a whole community is to change direction

2. It is almost a commonplace that when Moslem people, like anyone else, hear what christian faith is really about - many readily embrace it. If you visit your local christian bookstore you should find a number of personal accounts of moslems who have found a glorious alternative. A good example might be an Afghani man I know who was a refugee in Delhi where his life was transformed by the gospel. There are multiplied ...I don't know how many...individual cases.

3. Individual 'conversions' are not representative of the Islamic community at large. It needs to be understood that islam in its origin is implacably opposed to christianity, which it amazingly claims is actually a corrupt form of islam; the opposition is explicit.
