A ghetto by any other name...

It really doesn't matter whether a Muslim entity unto itself is called a micro-state, autonomous entity/zone, city of refuge or any other name. The separation of a people into a zone defined by race and/or religion winds up being a ghetto from which it is very difficult to escape. Options are severely limited.

That is because within a ghetto, cross pollenization with the surrounding culture virtually ceases, leaving the ghetto subject to ever more radical cults which promote and increase parochialism, extremism and control of the people within the ghetto. As the entity continues to be severed from its surroundings, two results are almost certainly assured: One, a crushing of the human spirit that results in passivity; or, two, outbreaks of violence.

It doesn't take much imagination to figure out what result is likely when Muslims are separated into a ghetto, whether by choice or other circumstances. Constantly goaded to violent thoughts and behavior by imans who hate Western civilization, adamantly resistant to assimilation into a culture they deplore and longing for the restoration of past glories via theocratic power, hatred and accompanying violence seem the most attractive options.
