One more possibilityReader comment on item: Muslim Autonomous Zones in the West? Submitted by Hans Gesund (United States), Jan 14, 2009 at 14:00 I believe there is one more possibility: Coexistence of secularized Moslems and secularized Christians in peace, cooperation, and intermarriage, with Islamists not expelled, but made sufficiently uncomfortable so that they will move back to the strictly Islamic countries. This has happened to some extent in Israel, where many Arab students go to Israeli universities (which all have Arab faculty members) and Arab professionals work side by side with Jewish professionals. There is a stark imbalance with the Arab countries, where Jews, whether religious or not, are not permitted to even live, let alone attend educational institutions. For some reason this does not seem to ever be mentioned in the media. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
