autonomous zones, as in the W.Bank or Gaza?Reader comment on item: Muslim Autonomous Zones in the West? Submitted by wynne (United States), Jan 14, 2009 at 11:38 Israel, faced with a Muslim population that was unwilling to accept the concept of a non-Muslim state in what the Muslim world perceives as "their world," tried this idea of autonomous zones. Gaza has been "judenrein" since 2005, and look at what it has become. Parts of Europe, especially Andalusia, were once under Muslim rule. So, is it so far-fetched to imagine rockets fired from the "autonomous zone of Granada" to Madrid? How would we in the US treat neo-Aztec Mexicans? Would we allow, even encourage them to practice their bloody rituals -- in the name of multi-culturalism? No, we would tell them to reform their religion.
