I've been writing letters to the editor of our local newspaper and a couple of national news magazines. I think them over very carefully and put a lot of time into writing them. I don't know of many other ways other than talking to my neighbors and anyone I bump into around town. It's not to hard to work it into general conversations. I would include co-workers, but am retired.

I refer a few people to Dr. Pipes various columns. He's much more effective than I.
