is Obama a Muslim

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?
in response to reader comment: Re Barak Obama for president

Submitted by Marlena Berghammer (United States), Feb 6, 2008 at 13:29

I am very concerned about our presidency. I think that as a people we are shallow and fickle. Obama was one of the few congressmen that did not vote for the war. could it be because of his long time commitment to the muslim nation.

If he was not a muslim, then why did he enroll in school as a muslim? it is my understanding that the only two religions that you have to be born into is being a muslim and being a jew.
