Who is Obama?

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?

Submitted by marie (United States), Aug 6, 2008 at 22:14

Who is Obama? As I watch Obama on the news, or read about him in the papers, he seems to avoid questions about himself. He just says what people are so desperate to hear. He delivers false hope as far as I can tell.

This is what really bothers me; Everyone seems to be so blinded by the light of good feelings that I worry that no one is listening to what Obama is really saying. If one really listens, Obama is not saying anything. He just talks. I just wish he would talk about who he is and what he really stands for.
