Our dear Ayaz and Arabic 101 and logic 101

Reader comment on item: Was Barack Obama a Muslim?
in response to reader comment: What does the word muslim mean?

Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Mar 1, 2008 at 08:05

Our dear Ayaz, who does not seem to know any Arabic, wrote this little gem

>The words Islam and Muslim come from the same 3 letter root word (s,l and m) in arabic.

Not really. The word Islam and Muslim come from a STEM from the root SLM. Your command of Arabic garmmar is poor.

>Islam by definition means surrender and submission only to the one true creator.

Really?. But the word surrender in Arabic is really Istislam and not Islam and the Arabic word submission means al-khudu3 or al-tasleem and not Islam and those that do not know Arabic will have no clue about what I'm talking about. So are you that clueless?

>A muslim by definition means one who surrenders and submits to the laws of God.

Yes a Muslim means he who surrenders to Allah. As for your "submits to the laws of God (read this as Allah)" where does it say that in the Qur'an?

>As almighty God is the creator of the heavens and the earth and the creation in it,

Really? but if your Allah created this creation then who really created your Allah? (see Sira 571-572) what is your answer ya ayuha al-faylasoof al-kabeer?even your Allah and his rasul had no answers to such profound question.

>nothing in the creation works at its own free will...

Says who? as in how do you know that?

>that is it follows a law and nothing can break or change that law unless the almighty wills.

Ah the old al-qada' wa al-qadr. So you tell us ya ayuha al-Mullah what is this life all about if your Arabian Allah had already pre-planned it? and how about those 72 virgins and the ghulman (boys for those like Muhammad 3Atta that have no use for virgins) of your Allah's little heaven would infidles also get them?

>Therefore we could say that gravity follows a law and we could call that law a muslim law since by definition it is obeying the created law of the almighty and never changes.

Wow big time falsafa, oh there is more?

>In a similar manner when a child is born it is naturally 'muslim'

And why is that? and what does this have to do with gravity ya fahlawi?

>as it has been born without its own control,

Islamic nonsense

> that is by its surrender and submission to the law of God. When the earth spins about its own axis it is not controlled by man but by its surrender and submisssion to an external controler can by definition be a muslim.

But your Allah says that it is the sun and the moon that orbit earth and nothing about gravity and the earth is falt (see the Quranic allusions in the seven heavens tradition) even the late Mufti of Saudi Arabia the so called Shaikh 3Abdallah bin Baz wrote his little gem of a book "Jarayan al-Shams wa al-Qamar wa sukun al-Ard" oh darn it you do not know any Arabic this means: "the motion of the sun and the moon and the stationary of earth" and the little gem that earth is the center of the universe as per your Allah and his rasul.

And do you know what this means? It means that the author(s) of the Qur'an knew only about ptolemaic cosmology and that the earth does not rotate around the sun. They had no clue about the works of Copernicus, Kepler and Galileo. So much for the God of the universe. So is the earth falt and the sun and the moon rotate around earth? It seems that this is what your Allah is saying as per Bin Baz and you ain't no Mufti

How come you did not know that? And did you expect us not to know?

>We can apply this to every naturally occuring situation which is beyond our control from the microscopic to the macro and come to a conclusion that to be muslim is to be natural by definition.

I have no clue and I suspect very much that you have no clue either. So could you tell us one more time: is every one born Muslim?

And here is your bonus question: where does it say in the Qur'an

Qul ina kuli al-bashar mawloodeen fi deen al-Islam!

As a matter of fact your Allah says that

Wa ma arsalna min rasulan ila bilisani qawmuhu

It means that Islam is really the religion of the Hijazi Arabs only which means that your little thesis is bogus

>Barack Obama (like every single human being) was naturally born as a Muslim but chose by external influence to adopt something outside the natural way of life (Islam)

No bogus falsafa. Barack Hosein's father was Muslim and he attended a Madrassa while in Indonesia and is now a member of a Christian Church in Chicago. Go figure.

>You can say that all the previous prophets and messengers were muslims by definition ie surrendered and submitted to God - from Adam, Noah, Lut, Abraham, Ishmail, Isaac, John,

But our dear Ayaz islam is the religion of the Arabs only and non of these prophets was an Arab

>Jesus and Muhammed( may peace be upon them all)

But our dear Ayaz the Qur'an really says that Jesus is also God. Wanna know more? Just ask.

>Muslims do not worship Muhammed (PBUH). Muslims are not Muhammadans.

Really? you could have fooled us. Then why is the anger by Muhammadans (oh darn it I forgot: muslims) about the Danish cartoons?

> So how do Christians call themselves Christians? or Jews, Hindus, Bhuddists, Sihks and so on. If you analyse these words they are all attributed to something created.

ROTFL and what does this really mean?

>Equally to be Muslim has responsibity set by the Almighty if we are to achieve success both in this world and the hereafter. Islam is the Law of God and to be muslim has responsibilities and you cannot compare Muslims to Islam, if a muslim does not fulfill those responsibilities.

And these responsibilites are? Oh let me guess looting and giving 1/5 of the loot to Allah and his rasul or is it crashing planes in big buildings and killing 3000 innocents human beings or is it brutalizing your own Hindu ancestors by the likes of Mahmud of Ghazni? or is it spreading Arabian imperialsim? so which one is it?

> A little like a covenant. So to be muslim is to strive for good and forbid the wrong. The prophet Muhammed(PBUH) said 'none of you can be a true believer until you love for your brother what you love for yourself'

Words of bogus wisdom from a man who was an Arabian warlord and caravan raider.

>Allah (your God and my God)

No Allah is not our God or even your God. Allah is an Arabian deity created by Muahmmad.

>sent the last and the seal of the prophets Muhammed(PBUH) as a mercy to mankind -

So where does it say that in the Qur'an

Ana Allah ba3athta Muahmmad rahmatun lil bashar

Let me help you: you will never find it.

>his mission was for the whole world.

Bogus. Then how do you explain

wa ma arsalna min rasulan ila bilisani qawmuhu?

Your claim is bogus

>He was sent to perfect morals and character.

So why was he a caravan raider and an Arabian warlord?

>Jesus(PBUH) prophesised him as the most praised one who will explain things in all detail and that he will confirm me.

Really? so Jesus said:

wa ina Muhammad ahasan wahid wa inahu sayashrah kul haja bitafaseel kabeer!

Where would I find this in the book of your Arabian allah?

But wait: how do you explain that Muhammad's name is supposed to be Qutham and his Kunya is Abul Qasim (and who on earth was this Qasim) and his name was also Ahmad? And how do you know that may be Qutham checked the Gospel of Barnabas and elected to change his name to Muhammad and a case of reversing cause for effect? So much for your poor and uncritical Muslim education

>(see Gospel of Barnabas).

Really? are you also aware that your Allah and his rasul "borrowed" from the "Gospel of Thomas" extant in Coptic?

>Muhammed in arabic means - the most praise worthy.

One word: Bogus. The most praise worthy means: akthar al-khaliq bilalmadh (see Wortabet dictionary page 292A and notice that praise means madh or hamd but not muhammad and worthy means mustahiq) so is this Abul Qasim's name? Your claim is bogus and so is your Arabic. And oh stick yo Urdu

See what happens when your likes become the slaves of a foreign language and culture?

>The Qur'an which relates things in great detail has a chapter in the Qur'an called 'Maryam' which confirms Jesus(PBUH) his birth, his mission and his ressurection.

And it also confirms that he was God. It seems that the Qur'an says that jesus is also God. If you want ot know more then just ask.

>Allah says in the Qur'an - 'Let there be no compulsion in religion, truth stands clear from error'

And it is abrogated by ayat al-sayf. How come you did not know that?

>Ps : Allah means by literal definition - 'The only absolute that which is worshipped'

Bogus. The word Allah means God and it is a laon word from Syriac.

>there is a greater need for dialogue with muslims who have sound knowledge to clear misconceptions on Islam. Peace To All.

No you need to get your money back from your glorious madrassa. So much for Muslim education

And like I say: you are defending the religion and the imperialism of the arabs that brutalized your Hindu ancestors and for this I say: Shame.
