Jaysee has got his/her needle stuck on the word: Arab. While the Arab prophet had categorically said, there is no difference between Arab or non-Arab when it comes to the religion of Islam. The only difference that distinguishes one from the other is the degree of piety. Islam treats all of us, whatever our identity, as children of Adam and Eve and therefore from the same family.

Of course, there are cultural differences between people from different backgrounds, but that does not change the essential nature of human kind. Today, US cultural influences are the top most imports in practically all parts of the world. Some people do resent and call it colonial conquest. But others gladly adopt American and western ways, without such adoption of culture making any difference to their idea of America. If that is acceptable to an American citizen, why should he/she resent other such influences voluntary being adopted by other people all around the globe? Islam spread around the world, without imposing any stamp of superiority on other people. Arabs were welcome in other parts of the world, more as Muslims rather than as Arabs. So why some people should expose their own prejudices against a single community in such an unreasonable and hateful manner.
