Sharia is embedded in American laws

Since Darren has himself admitted he is rambling, I will let him get off some steam out of his system so that he can think straight. For his great discomfort, I may point out that Sharia is already embedded in American laws.

For wherever there is justice, you will find Sharia. You cannot run away from Sharia, unless you want to run away from justice. American law is evolving and it reflects the consensus of the times. It is the people and not Muslims or Christians or Jews who will unilaterally decide how the changes are affected. It is essentially a collective effort and most of the times, a very unconsious development.

So I do not think America can build barricades against Sharia, however much some extremist hate-mongers try that. The way Islam is penetrating the hearts and minds of the Americans, no amount of immigrantion control will be relevant to America's tacit acceptance of Islam as a way of life, worth considering first at least as an alternative.
