The point Pipes is getting at is this: do you believe that Muslims have the right to kill anyone and everyone who does not believe the way you do.

Do Muslims have the right to be intolerant while condeming the rest of us for being tolerant of you? Do you treat others the way you would want them to treat you?

Or do you think what ever is good for you is the only truth. If someone elses life is a hinderance to your pleasure, does that give you the right to take their life? Did not the Creator make life, and is it not His sole right to take it, not yours?

Or is this the meaning of moderate you are pretending to not comprehend?

There is a difference.
