7) Muslims claim that the son Abraham was going to sacrifice was Ishmael and not Isaac. If this is so, then why were all the Prophets after Abraham until Jesus descendants of Isaac ?

Isaac was the father of the jews and Ishmael was the father of the arabs. the prophets sent by allah to the jews were israelites themselves thats why they were mentioned in torah and the injeel (bible) and finally the quraan. the stories related about the prophets sent to the straying flock of jews was to educate all of the errors and avoidance of such in the future. just because the prophets mentioned in the quraan were all israelites sent to their specific people with the exception of prophet muhammed (pbuh), it doesnt mean that there were not other prophets sent to other races at different eras to educate them and lead them on the right path.

The reason for the jews unacceptance of Muhammed (pbuh) was that he was not a jew, even though they knew his message to be right and true their pride couldnt bear them to accept him. Pride which caused Iblees (devil) to fall from grace. Prophet Muhammed(pbuh) was the last prophet for all mankind, his message was for all not for one race. Moses gift was magic which was much revered at his time, Jesus's main one was healing which was the most revered at his time, Prophet Muhammeds time showed a great interest for poetry and so he was gifted with the quraan, the greatest form of poetry. God in his infinite wisdom gave you examples of the trials of the few prophets and their people so you could learn from their mistakes, the quraan is a guide on how to live your life in obedience to Allah. Take it as such and not a history book or a geneology book to read for amusement or leisure.
