I recently chose Islam after living as a Roman Catholic

Reader comment on item: [Finding Moderate Muslims:] Do you believe in modernity?
in response to reader comment: Questions Muslims can't answer!!

Waleykum salaam wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu.

I'll touch basically on the response to your questions insha'Allah.

1) Do any authentic Hadith's exist that say Jesus was not the Messiah (The annointed one)?

My Response: What is the relevance of the question?

2) Do any authentic Hadith's exist that say Jesus was not the promised lamb of God ?
Please provide authentic Hadith.

3) Do any authentic Hadith's exist that say Jesus was not the promised redeemer of Sin ?
Please provide authentic Hadith.

2+3: Response, where do you read that either of these things were said of Jesus(pbuh)? If the source you are using is the bible then forget about it, the question is irrelevant, there is nothing to stop me or anybody else modifying the bible to say any number of things about Jesus (pbuh), there are more than 5 different versions of the bible as I'm sure you are aware. Each individual in its details, each undoubtedly modified by many hands.

4) Do any authentic Hadith's exist that say Jesus (Ruh-Allah) was not the person God was going to sacrifice as Abraham was going to sacrifice his son?

Response: Where does Allah (swt) mention he would sacrifice a person? Where did Mohammad (saw) say that God would sacrifice a person?

5) Muslims claim that Jesus was only sent for the lost sheep of Israel whereas Imam Mehdi is going to be the saviour of the WHOLE WORLD. If this is true then what is the purpose of Jesus coming down with Imam Mehdi to begin with?

Response: Mohammad (saw) was given revelation and is the final Prophet of Allah. The guidance which Mohammad (saw) was given is the guidance for the WHOLE WORLD until the end of time. As far as the questions of purpose are concerned, they are not what is important to a Muslim, simply, knowing Islam is the truth, and the proof of quran is simple, we hear and obey. Why anything? Why Adam? Why? Becuase, Allah said So.

7) Muslims claim that the son Abraham was going to sacrifice was Ishmael and not Isaac. If this is so, then why were all the Prophets after Abraham until Jesus descendants of Isaac ?

Response: Again, it seems like something is asking you to think in a place where you are not capable. For example; There is a knock at the door. What is behind the door? The best answer you can give is that something capable of knocking at the time of knocking knocked on the door. You are limited in your senses, our time is better spent reflecting on the great mercy of Allah that we have Islam, that Islam is the truth and can simply and comprehensively be proven such that we have confidence in it. We should carry Islam, and find that questioning gives us strength, let us all ask Allah to guide us.

8) In Islam, is the punishment of Apostacy "death"?
Please provide authentic evidence.

Response: I am unable to provide these evidences, not because they do or do not exist, but because I do now know the evidence. I know that any punishment is to be implemented by the Islamic State and not me, so the information is really nothing but devisive, we should not ask questions merely for the sake of asking questions.

As far as for the apostates, you have given rather a lot of information, it might better be tackled piece by piece. Are you thinking of choosing a way of life other than Islam? I strongly advice you against it. We can insha'Allah talk about your unique perspective on life and discuss belief together if you respond to this post.

Fie amaan illah.
