Fundementalists are oppressors!

Reader comment on item: [Finding Moderate Muslims:] Do you believe in modernity?
in response to reader comment: Questions that should be asked of Christian fundamentalists

There is a great difference between the shortcomings of men (all are sinners) and the words of God. The most frightening similarity between Muslims and Christians is the self-proclaimed right to judge any who disagree.

While Catholics may be viewed by some as sexist because females cannot serve God as priests, (man's rule, not God's) there is nothing forcing them to stay in the Church. They can leave. While many Christians consider Mormon's to be a cult and not Christian, we Christians do not do anything to harm them. They are entitled to their beliefs.

The fundementalist wacko's, on the other hand, attack Mormon and Catholic alike for not adhering to THEIR fundementalist doctrine. Just as the fundementalist Muslims. It is not dogma-it is arrogance and a lack of humanity!
