Muslims Do Answer!!!

Reader comment on item: [Finding Moderate Muslims:] Do you believe in modernity?
in response to reader comment: Questions Muslims can't answer!!

your lengthy article is simply a misconstrusion of what is meant in Islam. the Qur'an explicitly states that "Jesus, son of Mary was only a Messenger" and that he was a messenger unto the Israelites. you have perhaps, like many Muslims, misunderstood the symbolic realm of some of passages that attribute supernatural aspects to him such as being able to create birds of clay, etc. these passages simply imply spiritual meanings such as Jesus (pbuh) who would elevate the spiritual status of his followers and make them soar in goodness. a bird is a symbol of innocence and Holiness such as the Holy Spirit coming in the form of a bird in the Gospels.

i don't feel that a full response to every single point you have mentioned is need, but i would like to hear from you soon so we may disuss further.
