One question only

Asking all these questions is problematic, as it is demonstrated by some of the responses. I don't think we should care for specific customs in some cultures, i.e. we cannot ask "them" to be like "us".

However, there is one principle that is fundamental - live and let live. Agreeing to this principle would probably cover most of the questions in the article.

If people agree to this principle, then I don't care if they wrap their women in the cocoon or do something to their kids genitalia. Tthis is their business as long they don't tell me what I have to do to live my life.
