You make the truth even harder to find

Reader comment on item: [Finding Moderate Muslims:] Do you believe in modernity?
in response to reader comment: TRUTH is Hard to Find due to al-taqiyya and al-tauriya.

I found your article tiresome and a bit thin at times.

Lying is unacceptable in general.

Yes people can lie to protect their own lives. Islam does not promte Martyrdom in the same way as early Christianity, it is far closer to Judaism in that any law may be broken to save life.

Quoting bizaare stuff by the Ayatollah only tells us what a wierdo he was, so what. That does not change what was said about the reason for publisicing his tripe in the context given. Your arguements about moderates lack real substance. A verse does not have to be abrogated to not apply under current circumstances, your theological reasoning is poor.

You either do not understand or misrepresent "muslim law" just becase some muslims say a law is Islamic does not mean that it is.

Do I have to support the bombing of Afghanistan to be against terrorism?

Is economic warfare in a genuine essentially defensive (i.e. initiated by the other side, starting with violent persecution and theft) hot war valid or not?.... the contexts of the raids on caravans never seems to be given by Islam haters.

God does not need us to protect Islam.
