Reader comment on item: [The Need to Name and] Know Thy Terrorists

The modus operandi of Molsems is the same no matter where they are. When they are in a slight majority or in absolute majority they find it hard to tolerate the minority or dhimmis. Take Indonesia or Malaysia for example, the supposedly "moderate" Islamic countries. History has shown them (Moslem politicians or Islamic government) to making their minority conform by sending out armed militias to carry out their agenda. This happened in East Timor as well as the regular intimidation and attacks of their non-Moslem minority Chinese populace. It's common knowledge these armed militia groups are funded, protected and used by the government to further their motives. Often, when acts of violence or the massacres take place neither the police nor the military is in sight. What is worse is when curfews are imposed only the non-Moslems are shot at for staying outdoors by the troopers. In fact the troopers help keep the non-Moslems indoors so that the militias would find it easier to torch both homes and people together. This is a win-win situation for the Islamic authorities They get to keep their "clean" international image and at the the same they achieve their objective i.e. subduing and cowing the minority.

Islamic nations do the same . Moslem nations overbreed in compliance with the "holy" Koran. Hunger and poverty prevails amongst the masses. There will be those who are psyched and lured to the afterlife. The madrasahs teach Moslems to kill infidels and be martyred. Heaven is paradise where 72 virgins will serve them if they die for Allah. All Moslems are aware of this injuction. Moslems in the West often pretend they don't know about this. Corrupt and vulnerable Islamic regimes in order to hold on to power must covertly support the terror groups within their borders. Their peoples' anger must be diverted. The bogeymen are the West, Christian and Jews in particular. Why? Because the Koran says so. They get to keep their "clean" image and these sickos within their borders are cleverly made to look outwards to satisfy their holy objectives.

Islamic terrorists will continue to nibble at the West indefinitely. The West can pretend that this has nothing to do with Islam. But for how long? Come one fine day and when all heck breaks lose with the release of some weapon of mass destruction over a western city it would be too late. It's clearly a clash of civilisation. These terrorists are not "bad" guys. They are merely carrying out Allah's instructions! They are very cunning people. Look at how Bashir, the leader of Jemiah Islamiah (JI), blamed the Americans and the Jews for carrying out the Bali bombing on TV when in fact those arrested later turned out to be his followers from JI. Was there a "suicide bomber" involved? So the Indonesian police says. Did they need one for Bali. Anyone could have left the bomb behind in Paddy Bar and walked out. There were no security. It was the "safest" place in Indonesia to plant a bomb. Why sacrifice someone for nothing? Ah! But letting others know that "suicide bombers" are involved even among Indonesians now can surely intimidate others, doesn't it? You can't run away from the religious connotations because only churches in Indonesia and the Hindu island of Bali are bombed.

...The Australian PM, Howard, says Australians should be proactive and go after the terrorists wherever (extra-territorial) they may be. I cannot but agree with him totally because the co-operation the West gets from the Islamic countries are but cosmetic and half-hearted. Common sense dictates that the survival of such regimes depends on creating such outlets for their jihadists to go after.
