Reader comment on item: [The Need to Name and] Know Thy Terrorists

Submitted by Willie (United States), Nov 21, 2002 at 13:45

Defining the enemy I believe is well known & understood by our governmentt. We can debate stating what we think our President's enemy mission statement should be or should have been all along. I believe our agenda on dealing with the enemy works on many levels. What is said in public, the media or through e-mail is one thing.

I have a good feeling our intelligence community, military, clandestine ops, as well as all other cCountries we are allied with in the fight against this terrorism, have a very good grasp on who the real enemy is. Keep your friends close, but keep thy true enemies closer. I think this is the game being played & it makes perfect sence to me.

Militant Islamists is a great definiton to me. I have no issue on how our Commander & Chief & Co. have broadcasted thy enemy or enemies.

Lastly, Mr. Pipes, I find your subject matter over the last year quite interesting & have enjoyed reading much on your views.
