Militant Islam Blindness- Hopefully Divide and Conquer

Reader comment on item: [The Need to Name and] Know Thy Terrorists

I hope the tactic is intentionally to isolate each of the many Islamic militant components for piecemeal removal. Islamic conquest ideologists hope to unite an Islamic front against the West.

Those who argue Sadam is no threat to us, isolate Israel from the equation. Evidence of Sadam support for suicide operations against Israel is not unproven but is out of the equation for those who oppose wasting the effort against Bin Laden with a Saddam elimination by blindly ignoring the universal threat.

It may be a useful controversy to counteract the Islamic call for unified action against the West. True appeasement requires the cry "better Intolerant Militant Islamic Moslem than dead" for both the nonparticipant Moslems and the West. It is a tricky game but with each component of "Militant Islam" defeat, the climate will change dicrediting the "struggle" perception of Moslems everywhere.
