There´s value in the withdrawal

When all is said and done, I believe that the withdrawal from Gaza and a few small settlements in the west bank is an appropriate step for two reasons:

1. The cost in terms of money and the military of protecting 8,500+ Jews from 3 million Arabs.
2. A lack of appropriate actions by the Palestinians in assuming control of and governing Gaza will provide adequate justification for no additional withdrawals and the barriers
