Reader comment on item: "Today Gaza, Tomorrow Jerusalem"

Submitted by Irving Wiseman (United States), Aug 9, 2005 at 18:33

Maybe I am naive but; Israel is not exactly laying down their arms by moving the settlers to newer haunts.

A great deal of pressure was brought to bear by the Bush administration on Sharon to carry out this evacuation. Sharon is a soldier and if after the evacuation, the Hamas and other Terrorists persist, do you think Sharon or any Israeli leader will stand aside after making this monumental concession in the name of peace, Jerusalem NEVER Would Israel then not have a mandate to carry out full military action to put and end to all Hamas and Terrorist groups and even an end to the Palestians quest for a seperate state.

Jerusalem NEVER

Thanks for you article
