Deluded And Deceived

Reader comment on item: "Today Gaza, Tomorrow Jerusalem"

The state of Israel is doing no one a service by the unilateral amputation of THEIR territory. The Islamists see any lessening of control only as an opportunity for more demands.

I had the pleasure of speaking with a Catholic priest from Pakistan. A nation 96% Islamic. Christians must not drink from the same cup as a Muslim, conversion to Islam is easy and encouraged, conversion to Christian is death for the converter and converted. Christian businesses which are successful are accused of blasphemy, and taken by the Muslims. Christians live fear of physical safety. These are NOT radical or fudamentalist Islamics, but are the attitudes of the common, everyday "Moderate" Muslims. The notion that "Moderate" Muslims don't really behave toward their perceived adversaries (i.e. non Muslims) as Islam directs is insane. Muslims act out the Islamic ritual on a daily basis, obviously they embrace Islamism, and equally obviously they will treat the non Muslims with ritualized disrespect and worse.
The Jews, more than any other group, should know the price of appeasement.
