Negative thinking of all Israeli Leaders from Left to right

Reader comment on item: "Today Gaza, Tomorrow Jerusalem"

Submitted by David Goshen (Israel), Aug 9, 2005 at 16:55

Dear Mr.Pipes,
It is so easy to destroy hope of some dialogue between Palestinians & Israelis.
Sharon has made an outstanding effort to clear Gaza to help reduce the extreme congestion of settlement in the Gaza Strip by providing the Palestinian Authority a chance to spread and perhaps limit some of the vicious infighting between various waring terror groups. Sharon could have stayed on in Gaza till the Palestinian Authority started quelling the infighting.

To say that the next Intefada is on the way is to encourage the neglect by the Palestineans of human rights ,economic progress, development etc. It is no secret that there is no value to human life so pastimes like Intefadas are the only activity which counts.

Any Intefada starting anew should be followed by serious steps to hand over large segments of the Israeli Arab population to be joined to the Palestinian Authority. Arabs are not interested in rights of man, there is no concept of the value of a human rights so there can be no complaints when these big areas be shunted off.

Arabs hate any division in their ranks so can never stop criminals.acting as though they like the treatment
Yours sincerely
David Goshen
