Hi Charles

You need to read Patricia Crone's "Meccan Trade and the Rise of Islam" There is no extant evidence, be it literary evidence, coins, monuments ostraca epigraphy or manuscripts that will support the claims by the Islamic Historical Tradition about the rise of Islam in the city of Mecca Not a thing

Meccan and Medina Jews? They were made up by al-Mufasereen to explain what the Qur'an is saying about the Jews But was it real history as in "what really happened"? The answer is no

So here is a news bulletin: The Jews of the Qur'an lived in Mesopotamia and the Levant and they had nothing to do with Mecca or Medina It is all lies by al-Mufasereen
