Reader comment on item: The Muslim Claim to Jerusalem
in response to reader comment: Please make the Jerusalem International holy city for all three religions.

Jerusalem is already the CITY of the three religions. And thanks to the IDF who keeps it from any would be terrorists who may endanger the worshipers who come to visit its precincts. This applies to Christians who visit it during their festive seasons,Muslims(barring the young hot heads).,and Jews of course. As for the Canaanites:Our Abraham(and yours assuming cousin),came from over yonder too,I assume. Why then the reference to the ancients in your post? We are talking about the 21st century, while some Muslims want to revert it to the 7th. Do you approve of this? I hope you are able to read this, and reasure yourself that Jerusalem is quite safe in the hands of Israel in that respect..And all who come there leave with satisfaction and LOVE.Further,if your brothers in faith behave with equanimity and disturb NOT the "status quo" things will continue very safe for all,as at present.
