The Irish method is only good in Ireland

Reader comment on item: Gilad Shalit and Doing Business with Terrorists
in response to reader comment: How about the Irish option?

Submitted by Nadia (France), Apr 16, 2017 at 14:41

The released terrorists and the terrorist organisations they belong to don't value human life. They don't value their own life hence the kamikaze attacks. Executing terrorists in Israel will not achieve anything positive in my opinion. To die in the hands of non-Muslims is equated to martyrdom in their minds and is considered an honour. A shahid's or shahida in feminine (martyre's) family and fellow countrymen celebrate his/her death with demonstrations and joyful yoyo sounds they also emit at weddings and birth of sons. They believe he/she went straight to Paradise.
