1 Shalit = 1000 Palestinians? HA HA

Reader comment on item: Gilad Shalit and Doing Business with Terrorists

1. If I were Palestinian (or Arab) I would hang my head in shame. This is no victory for Hamas despite all the blustering rhetoric at Ramallah. It simply shows, once again, the value of 1 Israeli life. We'll give you a thousand of yours for ONE of ours !! The joke is on them, not on the Israelis. It's like the terrorists have no pride....at all.

2. The whole world watched as the overfed prisoners disembarked from their buses ready to go back to "work". I'll bet a lot of them had misgivings about "returning home". Many of them probably were thinking "And now, where's my next meal coming from?" Obviously, these prisoners were well taken care of. Did you notice all the gleaming white teeth? Provided, no doubt, at Israeli expense.

In contrast, Shalit looked like a waif, a true prisoner of war, like a forgotten victim of the Holocaust finally arriving home, barely able to stand on his feet. This is how Hamas takes care of its prisoners.

Let this be a warning to all those who commiserate with terrorists. You're dealing with barbarians. If you forget it, you and yours will ultimately pay a very high price indeed.
