Our OnGoing Respect to the Muslim World

Reader comment on item: On NASA's Strange Priorities

--- Barack Obama's grand speeches in Istanbul and Cairo as well as his repeated insistence on "respect" made Americans very aware that he hopes to win Muslim favor. ---

You know, it's not just Obama. Bush too.

Here's to the Muslims. It gets to show they have come a long way to commanding our respect.

They used to be nothing to us, but since the Towers we bend over backwards trying to win them over.

It's like when someone at the office suddenly becomes boisterous and mean and uses the f words – as opposed to say a nice one who gets jumped over or at - coworkers suddenly become wary, don't dare insult them, and respect them.

Yeah, in our infinite wisdom we think about them often now when they used to be nothing. They are so important now.

Like I put forth effort and time on them here. Hell's bells, probably lowers my quality of life when I could be doing something else – not thinking of them but maybe enjoying myself playing with the Xbox or enjoying watching more movies or fun tv shows or going out.

Gee, what have we become. These people, they have gotten into us.

Terrorism does indeed talk.
