YOUNG AMERICAN BLACK CHILDREN

Reader comment on item: On NASA's Strange Priorities

Submitted by Ilene Richman (United States), Jul 7, 2010 at 09:16

Why aren't young black American teenagers given this opportunity to participate with NASA? As a matter of fact, why aren't all American teenagers given this opportunity to participate with NASA?

This program should not include foreign students. We have to teach our own young American children about space exploration and science. This program is paid forwith American tax dollars. That means that our tax dollars should go toward educating American children. This program with NASA is a sham, brings up the deficit for NASA to educate children from Muslim countries. NASA is an agency that was defunded by Obama. Its main job was space exploration. Obama is making the US a third rate country by defunding NASA and adding to the deficit of educating foreign children. Tax dollars for education should be spent on our own young teenagers.
