The ...Qur'an is all Muslims need to 'feel good about themselves'

Isn't it enough that the State Department grovels at the feet of our enemies, gives Muslim terrorists and wannabe terrorists visas, admits tens of thousands of radical Wahabbi Muslims to attend our colleges and universities and join the local MSA chapters to plot our destruction? Isn't it enough that billions of our tax dollars are squandered on hellholes like Pakistan, Egypt, and Palestine where it often ends up in the hands of Hamas and the Taliban? Would somebody PLEASE explain to me why we are eternally indebted to the Islamic world where we are despised no matter how much money we throw at them? No amount of money, favors, apologetics, and sickening obseisance will change the ethos of Muslims or improve their putrid cultures and economies. The Islamic world is a retrograde backwater because of ISLAM but despite their collective, self-imposed desolation, they believe they are superior to the West that they depend on for their educations, technology, and everything else associated with modern life.

Let the Muslims reap their self-esteem from the glorious Qur'an or start buidling their own modern societies. They are the 'best of people', or so they say. What we should be doing is isolating ourselves from these primitive fanatics for the sake of self-preservation. AFter stewing in their Islamic juices for a few decades with no help from the evil West, they might emerge from the miasma of islamic stagnation and join the civilized, modern world. Since that would require hard work and prayer schedule adjustments, I'm sure they will eagerly remain indolent, eternal victims and charity recipients. If they can't steal, pillage, plunder, and expropriate the wealth of others, they will gladly accept the charity of their inferiors and call it jizya. I think I will go and throw up now.
