NASA's Strange Priorities

Reader comment on item: On NASA's Strange Priorities

Submitted by Irina Severien (Australia), Jul 7, 2010 at 07:05

Obama spent his early formative years under the influence of Islamic teachings, think of his years in Indonesia where he learnt the Koran and lived in an observant Muslim household. Naturally these years left a deep impression on him. His biological father was a non-obsevant Muslim, but still a Muslim. Therefore it does not come to me as a surprise that he is inclined to favour Muslims and Islamic nations.

The problem is that he is the President of the United States, the bastion of democracy and the leader of the free world, and as such he should overcome his personal feelings and act in the best interests of the country whose president he is. Unfortunately he does not seem to understand the difference between Obama the private person and Obama the president. He proved time and again that his priorities are mixed up.
