Morris Graham, traditions of men

Reader comment on item: Westerners Welcome Harems
in response to reader comment: Q for Mr Pipes and Mr Herz: Doesn't our Bible approve Polygamy?

Submitted by Infidel (Canada), Dec 8, 2008 at 22:32

When GOD created Adam and Eve, the concept was one husband and one wife. As the years passed, the men and women disobeyed GOD, and men began marrying more than one woman. This was never approved by GOD.
Mat 19:5 For this cause shall a man leave father and mother: and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain(two) shall be one flesh.
Mat 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain (two), but one flesh. What therefore GOD has joined together, let not man put asunder.
Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation GOD made them male and female.
Mark 10:7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife;
Mark 10:8 And they two shall be one flesh: so then they are no more two, but one flesh.
Mark 10:9 What therefore GOD has joined together, let not man put asunder.
1Cor 7:2 Let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
When JESUS came to earth, He clarified marriages as; one man, one woman.
The traditions of the past were never approved by GOD.

Muhammad changed the laws of GOD and declared that a man can have as many as four wives and as many concubines has he wished. Sura4 Aya3 If you fear that you shall not be able to act justly with the orphan (girls), then marry (other) women of your choice, two or three, or four.
