Orange Yonason; you state that "the Torah has laws governing when polygamy is allowed".
Please read Lev 18:18; Deut 17:17; Mal 2:14,15; New Testament; Matt 19:4,5; Mark 10:2-8; 1Tim 3:2,12; Tit 1:6.

Or better, tell us which of the Torah laws encourages or approves of "polygamy".
