Monogamy is not eroding under the influence of Sharia

Reader comment on item: Westerners Welcome Harems

Submitted by Peter Herz (United States), Nov 30, 2008 at 05:56

Monogamy is not eroding under the influence of Sharia. It has been eroding under the influence of the West's own sexual revolution. After all, if Gay Marriage is hidden in the penumbras of the Constitution (as will surely be "discovered" during the next 10 years), why not polygamy? Why not bestiality? Why not child sex? I can't say that I'm happy with the situation, but I'm not a federal judge.
