Reader comment on item: Westerners Welcome Harems

who dunnit?

The trouble is - if we continually accept creeping Islamisation - as accepting polygamy/harems is an indicator of - we'll get to the stage where more of Islam will be required by this increasingly vociferous , somewhat delusional minority.

We have Muslim charities, schools, youth clubs, next it will be Muslim political parties, Muslim universities and calls for modifications to our legal system to make concessions - otherwise some fanatic will take the government to court - using our own anti-discrimination laws against us.

Then who's to say what comes after that? As they increase in numbers and power - why shouldn't tactics such as we now witness today in Mumbai be used by the more deranged amongst them? What better way to shut down a venue or make a point on some issue they consider to be against their religion and to cower the rest of the populace into submission?

If it can happen in India - why can't it happen (again) in the West?
