Jason--- Mormons were polygamists but they aren't polygamists anymore!

Back when Utah was a territory polygamy was condoned and encouraged by the L.D.S. church. When it became clear that Utah would not archive statehood when it's citizens practiced polygamy, "GOD" sent divine revelation to "HIS" prophet and "HE" reversed "HIS" position on polygamy. Thus since 1890 plural wives are reserved for the Mormon's afterlife.
Utah was then able to become a state.

You probably won't find that on lds.org so crack open a U.S. history book or go to www.google.com and submit "mormon+polygamy"...
