European Roman Catholicism and Islam have far more in common than is seemingly realised. Both are man made, both have 'holy cities' Rome & Mecca, both have an atrocious history of persecution and mass murder of Jews and others, throughout their entire history. They have certain, peculiar infiltration techniques (One of these is what we call political correctness these days, same old ploys were pulled off many times, throughout the entire history of Europe). Both still do not recognise the State Of Israel. Both seek to get their hands on Jerusalem - solely for a sense of winning.

What gets under their religious skin is Jerusalem is THE HOLY CITY, and neither of these two religions can stand the thought of that. This is why fascist dictator(s) Mussolini gave the vatican 'state & nation status' - so as to claim Rome in Italy is the holy city, and Ireland has (wait for it) - Limerick as the 'next' holy city ! Politico-religious games they play yesterday, today and tomorow. Keep watch.
