Rearranging deck chairs on the titamic

Reader comment on item: A Critical Moment For Turkey

Submitted by Roosevelt's Disciple (United States), May 15, 2007 at 14:30

This whole episode is a red herring. It doesn't matter what happens in Turkey, the overall trend is clear.

Islam is spreading and Islamic violence is spreading.

We can discuss the different flavors of Islam (moderate, real, true, progressive, radical, etc.) until the cows come home, but the one thing we know to be true is that Islam in all its guises seeks to subjugate whatever it comes into contact with.

Only total resistance and rejection of all things islamic gives us any chance or survival...and yes, i mean SURVIVAL!

Let's stop intellectualizing about our own demise, let's start intellectualizing about what we need to do to win and start fighting this islamic plague.
