REALITY OF THE SITUATION

Reader comment on item: Europeans Fleeing Eurabia

What kind of statements are these?

All immigration that has occured in the history of modern times (700yrs) is only for economic reasons, these other cultures that have immigrated to various nations up the ladder of wealth and needing an undercurrent of people to move in to do unskilled work. Sometimes this immigration occurs because someone has a lot of money and wants to come to a nation that gives them the ability to live in a society that they can fully utilize there wealth, developing nations are not societies that can achieve this. Higher skilled immigration gives a nation a higher educated society without the drain on there education system.

To put this in perspective the developed industrialised nations around the world have a lot to thank for this immigration into there society.

I personally think that globalisation will slow down this migration patterns all over the world! The global trade of cheap products from nations such as China, India, SriLanka, Vietnam, etc are achieving the same thing as allowing the migrants from these nations to come to these industrialised nations and do the work there. Only leaving higher skilled or wealthy immigrants to migrate, But the vast majority of migration in the past (700yrs) has largely been for cheap unskilled labour, the United States was a beacon for this.

Sorry for being so blunt but reality is reality and that won't change, Europe or United States would be nowhere near what it is today without this migration.
