Hi Octavio,

I am certainly not denying that, you are mistaken there.
Actually, after a thorough parliamentary inquiry an official report was made public by the dutch government in which the multicultural society (as a government guided phenomenon) was called "a failure". In regards to this I´m not an ostrich, you will find very few people in Holland who will deny this, maybe none, but that I "just don´t get it", as you say..I am fully aware of the dangers, Octavio, you can only accuse me of being quite optimistic about the outcome of all this, while most people are very negative.

Due to what happened the last years people, including me, are trying to find another way of cleaning the mess, and with more priority. Now it´s on everyone´s agenda basically. Yes, an anti-immigrant party temporarily blossomed, but where are they now?
Politicians have grown up here, and have become more thorough in policymaking. I will not leave Europe for supposedly greener pastures, and like I said before that masses of people are doing that is a myth. People migrate, it´s because of increased mobility, not out of fear. I divide my time between amsterdam and barcelona, for example.

And mentioning the "harder line" of countries as Germany and Italy as preferable? Mmmh, tricky..most German muslims have not even got german nationality( a major problem), Italy has a very poor immigration record anyway.

And wouldn´t you agree with me that Van Gogh was murdered by a madman with an agenda? The group he belonged to is tiny, and already rolled up. He and a few others (including an 18yr old Dutch-American ,Jason Walters, by the way) are arrested and convicted, their followers melted away.

I stand by my opinion, Octavio, and if you can´t get that, well, just too bad isn´t it? There´s already plenty of people with your viewpoint anyway (not meant to be condescending) ,I don´t think we run the risk of being submerged in general "naivite and not wanting to see the threat"..I´m angry too, but not in the way you are.

I agree with your "list of dutch mistakes" by the way, although things have improved recently.
