The Word on FinlandReader comment on item: Europeans Fleeing Eurabia Submitted by Straight_Talk_Luigi (United States), Apr 22, 2008 at 22:45 The word in Finland is actually pretty good, as it is most of E. Europe. Islam isn't very visible at all there. Sure there are some refugees and foreign workers, but nothing like Malmo, which has issues moreso because it's across the strait from Copehagen. The indigeous Islamic group in Finland, the Baltic Tatars, are very wary around other Muslims like Iranians, kurds, or somalis. Though few in number in Finlands 5+ million people, they don't trust them. Countries like Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, Estonia, ect. These places are nearly devoid of Islam, due to the influence of the Catholic and Othrodox Church. Plus, there's not much economic opportunity there.
