New Zealand secular, Australia not so much

Tommo's comments that 'New Zealand is not an option' because of increasing muslim migration is completely false. Census 2006 shows 36,000 muslims out of 4.1 million people, less than 0.9% of the population The country has one muslims school of 450 students, mosques are not everywhere in fact there are about 5 or 6. Australia however has more than 25 muslim schools and many more mosques. It has more than 350,000 muslims or 1.7% of the total population. Muslim migration to New Zealand is not as prolific as Europe or the US because New Zealand draws most non muslim migrants from China, India, South Africa. In fact immigration even from muslim majority countries shows that more than half of them are christian for example Iraq and Iran.
