Reader comment on item: Europeans Fleeing Eurabia

Submitted by Darren (United States), Jul 11, 2006 at 14:17

Daniel,

When Tony Blair remarked recently that the UK government will not win the war on terror without Muslim help, his outreach effort betrayed a deeper truth; The UK government has within its power means of winning the war against extremists. That Tony and the broader european elite "won't go there" suggests the evolution into Eurabia is further along then I for one thought.

There is something almost pathological in the rhetorical reflexiveness of the European left as far as it goes in defending/elevating Islam. I think in truth they don't care much for them, but have to critically support them regardless to keep the key pillars of post-modernism in place - that everyone should get along in Eutopia, that all viewpoints are valid (despite its logical incoherency) and that the state can fix all if it is given responsibility for all. They kill off dissenting viewpoints t(o the embrace of Islam) by invoking "that kind of talk led to the Holocaust" etc - yet the same people always seem to single out modern Israel for disproportionate criticism. These folks are totally blind to what they are becoming. A present-day George Orwell is needed desperately to call out the depravity of ideas circulating among his side in the early 21st century.
