Reader comment on item: Muslim Zionism

The article touches a chord I have been thinking about, that the West is spreading a secular worldview of globalism, free trade, business, materialism, wealth creation, and so on. This world would be operated by global elites in a system that also manages to keep things in balance by feeding the poor, stamping out disease and unrest as much as possible, etc. But it is also a worldview that is short of passion and deep meaning. It may even be a bit boring, as well as shallow. Because Islam appears to have so many passionate beliefs and hatreds, it may unfortunately have an edge.
