The UN Charter is Worthless

Reader comment on item: [Kofi Annan and] Eliminating Israel Politely

Submitted by Pat (United States), Dec 13, 2005 at 16:00

This has to make you wonder why any self-respecting democracy would remain a member of the United Nations. It has become an organization for the advancement of third world dictatorships and autocracies, and Kofi Annan sees himself as President of the World.

There is no need for a world debating society on the East River, which is all the UN has become. The UN Charter is practically null and void. The UN sits on precious real estate, which should be reclaimed for the American people. It's time to get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US.
