perhaps justice isn't so poeticReader comment on item: [Kofi Annan and] Eliminating Israel Politely Submitted by L (United States), Dec 30, 2006 at 04:38 ok, so we have already seen how "absolute power corrupts absolutely"... kofi is out, sadam is dead and peace is imminent? come on. the UN is the only leg that the US has had to stand on to justify the atrocities it has contributed to the "peace and stability in Iraq". (pardon me- ugh) please people. try to vote in the country that you are a listed citizen in. that is what will eventually make a difference. the un has a nice building on the east river, but thats about it. oh- they shut down commuters for a week every year in manhattan, so they can "meet" and devise such elegant and articulate speeches that mean absolutely nothing. VOTE~ that makes a difference in this country, then hope you made the right decision.... cheers! happy new year!
