Current Political sphere in EthiopiaReader comment on item: [Kofi Annan and] Eliminating Israel Politely Submitted by Ermias (Ethiopia), May 18, 2009 at 09:17 It is hard to generalize depending on some sources.Well I personally beleive that Ethiopian politics is now fragile but better than 20 years ago. The ruling party masters the power with no strong opposition party. The problem doesn't emerge only from the government but also from the people it self and from the ethinic based and weak parties which their number excedes 80. So we need unity and common ground for these diverse parties so that the ruling party can face a challenge.Of course the so called 'Medrek' is triying simillar activity.
